Interesting debate on proposals to strengthen Spanish financial instruments in Africa
Very productive session organized by the Fide Foundation in collaboration with Mesa Africa and the Ambassador of the Africa Plan, Alberto Virella Gomes.
Jesus Jimenez, CEO of FOCE and Coordinator of the Africa Working Group of the Exporters Club, had the opportunity to exchange views and opinions with Fernando Salazar Palma, Executive President of Cesce and Miguel Tiana Álvarez, General Director of COFIDES in relation to the different Spanish Financial Instruments available to boost Spanish Investment and Business Presence in Sub-Saharan Africa.
We also had the opportunity to hear from Rene Awambeng, Global Client Director of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), who discussed the opportunities offered by ECAs (export credit agencies) in Sub-Saharan Africa and their instruments, as well as the possibilities of collaboration with Spanish institutions.
